This is a rare opportunity for a Senior Accountant to join a high-performing finance team. Reporting to the Financial Controller, this is a hands-on role that will see you partnering with key stakeholders across the business, delivering insightful financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting, while ensuring compliance with statutory obligations. Enjoy a hands-on role where your ideas and expertise are valued. About the role: Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports, including variance analysis and commentary. Lead the annual budgeting process and assist with regular forecasting cycles. Monitor business performance and provide financial insights to support strategic decision-making. Assist with month-end and year-end close processes. Manage payroll-related accounting and statutory compliance. Prepare and lodge BAS, IAS and other statutory reporting obligations. Support cash flow forecasting and working capital management. Partner with operational stakeholders to provide financial analysis and business support. Assist with external audits and year-end reporting requirements. Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reporting accuracy. Support ad hoc projects and business improvement initiatives as required. About You: Completed CA/CPA qualification Demonstrated experience in a Senior Accountant or similar finance role ideally within the mining or resources sector. Strong understanding of budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting and statutory compliance. Advanced Excel skills with strong analytical capabilities Ability to communicate financial information clearly to both finance and non-finance stakeholders.
