Job Description: Chinese Interpreter (Machine Installation Project) Position: Chinese Interpreter Department: Engineering / Production / Project Management Key Responsibilities · Interpret and translate between Chinese, English, and Thai during meetings, training sessions, and daily operations. · Support communication between Chinese engineers and local employees during machine installation, commissioning, testing, and production trials. · Translate technical documents, manuals, work instructions, machine specifications, and reports. · Coordinate with internal departments including Engineering, Production, Maintenance, Safety, and Quality Assurance. · Assist Chinese engineers during equipment setup, troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance activities. · Translate discussions regarding machine performance, production issues, process improvements, and technical solutions. · Prepare meeting minutes and translation reports when required. · Support communication with external contractors and suppliers throughout the installation project. · Ensure accurate communication of technical, operational, and safety-related information. · Perform other assignments as requested by management. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in any field. At least 1 year of experience as a Chinese Interpreter or in using Chinese (listening, speaking, reading, writing). Proficient in Chinese (HSK 5-6 or equivalent). Good communication skills in English and Thai. Experience in manufacturing, engineering, or machine installation projects is preferred. Ability to translate technical terminology accurately. Willing to work at production sites and support overtime when required. Strong coordination and interpersonal skills Able to start work immediately will be an advantage. Able to work both day and night shifts (8:30–17:30 / 20:30–05:30).
