Fibre Installer

The position reports to the Team Leader, Installer Governance & Performance Management Job Overview: Generally, Fibre Installer called Inhouse Service Installer are responsible to fixed end to end internet installations in residential locations. Inhouse Service Installer should have basic knowledge in fibre networks for new installation, troubleshooting and repairing existing installation. They also need to upsell or cross-sell company's products/packages to customers during installations. Additionally, Inhouse Service Installer are able to respond customers in order to ensure smooth installation experience. Your work life: Make sure there are enough items/devices, materials, tools, including arrangement of installation visit and reaching out to customers on time & professionally. Responsible In managing TIME coverages Building Managements access/ rules & regulations and reputation. Perform Fibre Cabling pulling Installation works from TIME splitter to customer unit. (non-prelaid) Perform Patchcord cabling Installation works from Developer rack to TIME Splitter and Installation Inside customer unit as per the required installation method. (pre-laid) Responsible in end to end installation process to ensure a smooth installation experience for customers. Providing consultation and troubleshooting of Customers’ Premises Equipment (CPE). Perform triple play services testing which included High-Speed Internet (HIS) speed test via company's speed test webpage, perform test call from VOIP phone (incoming & outgoing calls and take down the recordings (base on the package offerings). Promoting customers on current offerings and promotions for upselling and cross-selling products. Build and maintain good relationship with customers for long term partnership. Perform Network upgrade for TIME Splitter base on the demand In the coverage buildings. To be considered, you’ll need: Possess own transport and able to travel within Kuala Lumpur / Selangor Possess own transport to carry tools & equipment’s for day to day Installation works. Possess at least Diploma in Information Technology (IT)/ equivalent field Possess at least 1 year experience in installing Fibre Installation works/ hardware and software. Possess at least 1 year experience in installing CCTV/ network Have experience in Service Installer before Possess IT certificates (added advantages) Always available to support Business Urgent activities i.e. after office hours, weekends, Public Holiday as well as month end installation works as per Business requirement.
