IT Support Supervisor - SOGO Merdeka 118

Responsibilities: To assist in supervising the IT team in maintaining and troubleshooting of IT hardware and software including serves, networking, printers, email and etc. and oversee the department’s daily operations. To give direction, clear instruction, as well as good advice to subordinates and delegate jobs to them effectively. Maintain and troubleshoot of POS system including credit card and e-wallet terminals. Responsible for record and maintenance of IT infrastructure inventory list and ensure proper tagging/labelling. Perform periodic software audit on all computer systems, perform administrative support and scheduled routing of IT housekeeping. Keep records and/or create knowledge base in event of any IT incident, IT problem and change management occur and identifying IT issues and proposing for improvement. Responsible for any license and hardware warranty renewal for infrastructure appliances. Execute and perform any task or assignment that may be assigned by the superior. Requirements: Minimum Diploma in Computer Science / Information Technology or equivalent. 2-3 years of supervisory working experience preferably specializing in IT/Computer – Hardware and Software. IT experience in Retail and F&B industry will be an added advantage. Strong leadership skills with positive attitude and good problem solving abilities. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and is able to work well with all levels of staff. Good command of language both written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia. Able to work and follows retails shift working hours. Candidate with lesser experience will be considered for IT Assistant position. Tentative start date will ni October 2026.
