Full time ongoing role in Townsville, Queensland SCHADS Level 4 ($46.70 - $50.25 per hour) + leave loading + salary packaging benefits Support individuals on their recovery journey following a suicide attempt If you're passionate about engaging with the community and building connections with those impacted by suicide, this role is ideal for you! The Program The Aftercare service offers support by focusing on providing practical psychosocial assistance to individuals experiencing a suicidal crisis or those who have attempted suicide. The aim is to prevent suicide by offering care and practical support that fosters safety and aids in recovery . About your new role As a Support Coordinator , you'll play a key part in intake and assessment processes, supporting individuals referred to Wellways. Your role will involve delivering non-clinical care and personalized practical assistance to consumers and their families for the first three months following a suicide attempt. In this vital position, you will help Aftercare participants develop safety and support plans and provide guidance to ensure they remain connected to crucial services during this critical period. Leveraging your expertise, you'll engage with vulnerable groups out in the community and enhancing social connections.
