Role Overview & Art Department Vision We are seeking a dedicated, inspiring, and visionary Visual Art Teacher (Part-Time – 2 - 3 day/week) to play a key role in driving and nurturing the growth of our Visual Arts program. Beyond delivering engaging classroom instruction, you will act as a champion for creative expression across the school—elevating student artistry, supporting campus-wide aesthetic development, and building a vibrant artistic culture within our community. Core Duties & Responsibilities Curriculum & Pedagogy : Develop and deliver a dynamic, school-based Art curriculum for Years 7–9, blending local educational standards with Cambridge IGCSE Art & Design expectations to foster creative excellence and technical skill. Skill Cultivation : Nurture students' technical techniques and personal expression across a broad spectrum of mediums, including drawing, painting, mixed media, printmaking, and digital art. School Art Development : Actively enrich the school’s visual culture by organizing student art showcases, curated exhibitions, and display initiatives that highlight student achievements and elevate the campus environment. Events & STEAM Integration : Support school-wide events, creative showcases, and interdisciplinary STEAM activities that celebrate visual arts. Community & Collaboration : Collaborate positively with colleagues, leadership, students, and parents to foster a growth mindset and a supportive learning community. Key Qualifications & Requirements Education : Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Arts, Visual Arts, or Art Education. Registration : Registered Teacher status under the Hong Kong Education Bureau (EDB). Experience : Minimum 2 years of relevant teaching experience (experience within a bilingual school environment is a distinct advantage). Language Skills : Near-native English proficiency (bilingual capability in English and Cantonese/Mandarin is highly desirable). Work Schedule : Ability to work two to three fixed days per week (specific weekday to be mutually agreed upon).
