Roles & Responsibilities: • Responsible for planning, designing, and managing Local Area Network (LAN), Wide Area Network (WAN), Software-Define Wide Area Network (SD-WAN) and telecommunications infrastructure for company and its subsidiaries. • Responsible for configuring and maintaining network hardware and software, ensuring network security and integrity, monitoring network performance, and troubleshooting network issues for company and its subsidiaries. • Manage and control daily operations of network infrastructure inclusive of switches, routers, access points, wireless controller, SD-WAN appliances, network load balancer and internet link for company and its subsidiaries. • Monitor network performance and guarantee peak performance for company and its subsidiaries. • Maintain network hardware and equipment like routers, switches, firewalls, and servers for company and its subsidiaries. • Troubleshoot network problems and outages for company and its subsidiaries. • Perform routine maintenance and upgrades on networking devices to fix security vulnerabilities for company and its subsidiaries. • Manage network infrastructure service requests and change requests for company and its subsidiaries. • Document network operational procedures and develop disaster recovery plans for company and its subsidiaries. • Provide end-user technical assistance and collaborate with other IT teams to resolve issues. Requirements: • Higher Diploma in Computer Science or equivalent. • Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) certification. • At least 8 years of experience in network security. • Experience working in Insurance is an added advantage. • Solid understanding of networking principles including TCP/IP protocols, subnetting, routing an switching technologies. • Proficiency in configuring and troubleshooting network devices such as routers, switches and firewalls. • Strong knowledge of administration and configuration of network switches and routers. • Good team player who is passionate about self-improvement and quality of work. • Ability to communicate effectively with end-users for insight on functionality, interface, problems, and/or usability issues. • Proficient in English and Bahasa Malaysia with good communication and interpersonal skills.
