We are looking for qualified Automotive Technicians with franchise dealership experience to join a well-established, high-performing dealership in Wellington. What's on offer Secure a permanent position with a respected, high-volume franchise dealership Competitive hourly rates of $34–$42 , depending on skills and experience Modern workshop equipped with the latest tools and technology Friendly, supportive team and a positive workplace culture Full-time, permanent employment Guaranteed minimum of 40 hours per week About the role You'll be joining an experienced workshop team, carrying out a wide range of servicing, diagnostics, and repair work in a busy franchise environment. Key responsibilities: Perform routine servicing and scheduled vehicle maintenance Complete both minor and major mechanical repairs Diagnose faults accurately and carry out effective repairs Road test vehicles to identify and confirm mechanical issues Liaise with customers to explain maintenance requirements and repair recommendations What we're looking for Trade-qualified Automotive Technician with proven industry experience Previous franchise dealership experience EV and hybrid vehicle experience or training is advantageous WOF and/or AVI certification is highly regarded Self-motivated with a strong work ethic Excellent communication and customer service skills Sound technical knowledge and diagnostic ability Ability to work collaboratively within a team Good computer literacy and a high level of attention to detail How to apply Applications from those wanting to relocate from elsewhere within NZ are welcome, as are applications from those based offshore who meet the requirements.
