About the Role HRZ Global Holdings is a fast-growing consumer group operating across Southeast Asia. As we scale, we are building out our group finance function to match our ambitions — and we are looking for an experienced Regional Financial Controller to lead it. In one line: own the integrity of the group’s consolidated numbers, controls, and audit across all entities. This is a high-impact, hands-on role at the Centre of the business, working directly with senior leadership and external advisers to build a finance function fit for the next stage of growth. What You’ll Do Group Consolidation & Reporting Produce IFRS-compliant consolidated group accounts each month on a fixed close calendar, including intercompany eliminations, FX translation, and non-controlling interest. Maintain the bridge between local GAAP entity books and the group IFRS standard. Ensure accuracy and timeliness of all board and investor reporting; track loan covenants and reserved matters. Entity Close Quality Review each entity’s books prior to consolidation — revenue reconciliations, cost of goods and inventory, accruals and prepayments, bank reconciliations, and AP/AR aging. Drive consistent close standards across a multi-country, multi-currency group operating on separate local accounting systems. Controls & Governance Design and maintain the group’s internal control framework: approval limits, segregation of duties, period-end cut-off, revenue recognition policy, and intercompany policy — documented and not person-dependent. Lead the external audit process: prepare consolidated accounts, act as primary auditor contact, coordinate local statutory audits, and manage the group auditor relationship. Treasury, Cash & FX Own group cash forecasting across four currencies and manage the group’s FX policy. Prepare and manage payment runs across entities; coordinate banking operations. Tax & Compliance Oversee statutory filings in all jurisdictions with local advisers and keep transfer-pricing documentation audit-ready. Team, Systems & Strategy Build and lead the group finance function — develop people, processes, and standards as the group grows. Strengthen local accounting systems and consolidation tooling across entities. Drive IPO readiness: build IFRS accounting standards and internal controls to the level a future listing requires. Coordinate across outsourced accountants, 3PLs, customs agents, and operations teams to maintain one reliable set of numbers. Who We’re Looking For Must-Have Qualified accountant (CPA / ACCA / CA) with a Big 4 audit foundation. Proven track record consolidating multiple entities across more than one currency (intercompany, FX translation, NCI, holding-company structure). Strong IFRS / TFRS technical knowledge. Has owned group finance at a comparable scale. Strong English for board and investor reporting; working Thai for the Bangkok HQ. Useful to Have Experience in consumer, e-commerce, or direct-to-consumer businesses (marketplace payouts, cost of goods and margin, OEM/ODM inventory). Southeast Asia and/or Greater China exposure. VC- or PE-backed or pre-IPO environment experience. Mandarin a plus. The Ideal Candidate A hands-on, Big 4-trained qualified accountant — currently a Financial Controller or Finance Director at a similar-scale multi-entity consumer or D2C group in the region — who wants to step up and lead this function at a high-growth company.
