Corporate Responsibility Specialist Location: Bangkok, Thailand We are seeking an experienced and motivated Corporate Responsibility Specialist to join our regional Corporate Responsibility (CR) team based in Bangkok. Reporting to the Corporate Responsibility Manager in Hong Kong, this role will be responsible for driving and implementing corporate responsibility, sustainability, and supply chain compliance initiatives across Thailand and other assigned markets in Asia. As a key member of the regional CR team supporting a leading European retail business, the successful candidate will play an important role in helping suppliers meet evolving customer expectations and regulatory requirements related to responsible sourcing, human rights, environmental sustainability, and supply chain due diligence. This position requires a mature, self-driven professional who can work independently, manage multiple stakeholders, and serve as a trusted partner to suppliers, factories, and internal teams. Key Responsibilities: • Lead the implementation and execution of the Company's Corporate Responsibility strategy, sustainability initiatives, and compliance programs in Thailand and assigned regional markets. • Independently manage social and environmental compliance activities, including audits, assessments, corrective action plans, and continuous improvement programs. • Support suppliers and factories in understanding and meeting company requirements, industry standards, and relevant European regulatory expectations related to responsible sourcing and sustainability. • Build strong partnerships with suppliers, factories, and business teams to drive sustainable and responsible business practices. • Monitor supplier performance and provide practical guidance to improve compliance and sustainability performance. . • Conduct supplier engagement and training on social compliance, environmental sustainability, responsible sourcing, and human rights due diligence. • Support company requests, reporting requirements, and sustainability projects across the regional supply chain. • Monitor developments in sustainability legislation, responsible sourcing requirements, and industry best practices, assessing potential impacts on suppliers and business operations. • Coordinate effectively with regional and global stakeholders while working remotely under the guidance of the Hong Kong-based CR team. • Travel regularly within Thailand and Asia to conduct factory visits, assessments, training, and stakeholder meetings. Requirements: • Degree in Sustainability, Corporate Responsibility, Environmental Management, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Law, or a related discipline. • Minimum 5-8 years of relevant experience in corporate responsibility, sustainability, social compliance, environmental compliance, responsible sourcing, or a related field. • Strong hands-on experience working with factories, suppliers, and manufacturing operations in Thailand and Asia. • Solid knowledge of internationally recognized standards and assessment frameworks, such as BSCI, SMETA, SA8000, BEPI, ISO 14001, amfori, Higg Index, OEKO-TEX® STeP or equivalent programs. • Good understanding of European sustainability, human rights, and supply chain due diligence requirements. Experience supporting suppliers in relation to EU regulations and customer expectations would be a strong advantage. • Familiarity with emerging regulatory topics such as human rights due diligence, supply chain transparency, responsible sourcing, environmental compliance, decarbonization, and sustainability reporting. • Demonstrated experience managing compliance audits, corrective action programs, supplier engagement, and capability-building initiatives. • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while effectively managing priorities across multiple projects and stakeholders. • Strong stakeholder management, communication, presentation, and influencing skills. • Proven ability to work successfully in a multicultural and regional business environment. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a practical, risk-based, and solution oriented mindset. • Excellent command of English and Thai, both written and spoken. • Willingness to travel frequently within Thailand and Asia.
