About the role You own COGS for a global FMCG manufacturer's Thailand operation. This is the person who makes the cost numbers make sense and drives the factory and supply chain to act on them. The role sits inside the plant ecosystem — working directly alongside Supply Chain, Manufacturing and Procurement — not from a regional tower. That's the appeal and the reality: real ownership, real influence, and regular time on the ground in Chon Buri OR Bangkok. Key responsibilities COGS forecasting, variance analysis, and identifying the cost drivers that actually move the P&L The Annual Operating Plan for costing — material cost assumptions, manufacturing overhead, BOM, routing, capacity planning with Supply Chain Monthly management reporting on COGS performance with commentary people can act on Inter-company transfer pricing across business units and markets Month-end and year-end close for the costing area Internal controls, CSA, and audit support for costing Business partnering with the factory on improvement initiatives A small costing team (leadership is welcome but not the core of the job) About you Degree in Finance or Accounting Solid hands-on experience in product costing, standard cost, budgeting/forecasting, and variance analysis SAP proficiency in costing modules; strong Excel Working English — you'll communicate with regional stakeholders FMCG / beverage / food manufacturing background Multi-market or regional reporting exposure Team leadership experience
