Position: Head of Sales – B2B Food Ingredients Salary: Up to THB 200,000 per month Company Overview Our client is an established international provider of food ingredients and value-added solutions, serving food manufacturers, professional food-service operators, and major business customers. To support continued business expansion, the company is seeking an experienced Head of Sales to lead its commercial activities , strengthen strategic customer relationships , and develop new growth opportunities across Thailand and selected regional markets. Position Overview The Head of Sales will be responsible for defining and executing the company’s commercial strategy, driving revenue and margin performance, developing strategic accounts, and leading the sales organization toward sustainable growth. This position requires a commercially driven and hands-on leader with strong experience in food ingredients, bakery solutions, dairy-related products, or industrial food manufacturing. The successful candidate should be confident in managing senior-level customer relationships, leading complex negotiations, and collaborating with technical teams to deliver tailored solutions. Key Responsibilities Commercial Strategy and Business Growth Develop and execute sales and business development strategies aligned with the company’s overall growth objectives. Identify new market opportunities, customer segments, distribution channels, and strategic partnerships. Expand the company’s presence among food manufacturers, food-service operators, and other major business customers. Evaluate market trends, competitor activities, and customer requirements to identify future growth opportunities. Lead commercial expansion initiatives across assigned markets and territories. Strategic Account Management Develop and manage relationships with major local, regional, and multinational accounts. Build strong engagement with business owners, senior executives, procurement leaders, technical teams, and other key decision-makers. Lead annual account planning, sales forecasting, customer development plans, and long-term commercial agreements. Identify opportunities to expand product penetration, customer value, and revenue within existing accounts. Maintain high customer satisfaction and develop sustainable, long-term business partnerships. Sales Performance and Commercial Management Lead the sales function to achieve revenue, sales volume, gross margin, and business development targets. Establish clear sales priorities, performance indicators, and execution plans for the team. Monitor sales pipelines, forecasts, customer performance, and market development activities. Lead commercial negotiations covering pricing, annual contracts, supply arrangements, and other key business terms. Work closely with management to ensure commercial decisions support both growth and profitability. Customer Solutions and Cross-Functional Collaboration Work closely with R&D, technical, quality assurance, production, marketing, and supply chain teams to address customer requirements. Support customer trials, product applications, customized solutions, and new product development projects. Translate customer feedback and market insights into commercially viable product or service opportunities. Coordinate internal resources to ensure successful implementation of customer projects. Maintain a strong understanding of product applications and food production processes relevant to the target market. Team Leadership and Stakeholder Management Lead, coach, and develop sales and business development team members. Build a performance-driven sales culture with clear ownership and accountability. Align local and regional commercial activities with the company’s broader business direction. Provide regular sales forecasts, market insights, and performance updates to senior management. Represent the company at customer meetings, trade exhibitions, industry events, and relevant business activities. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Food Science, Food Technology, or a related discipline. At least 10 years of experience in B2B sales , business development , or key account management. Strong experience in food ingredients, bakery-related solutions, dairy products , or industrial food manufacturing is highly preferred. Demonstrated success in developing new business and expanding major customer accounts within the food industry. Experience managing regional, multinational, or large-scale corporate customers. Strong commercial judgment with the ability to manage revenue, margin, pricing, and sales forecasting. Good understanding of food production processes, product applications, and customer development projects. Strong negotiation, presentation, and senior stakeholder management skills. Proven ability to lead, coach, and develop a sales team. Strategic, results-oriented, and capable of remaining hands-on in customer and business development activities. Good command of English for business communication is highly preferred. (Report to Expat GM) Able to travel domestically and internationally when required. Why Join This Opportunity?
