Summary of Position We are currently recruiting for a Project Surveyor to join our established Survey division in Victoria. As part of our continued growth and expansion in this area and having been awarded a number of Large Infrastructure projects located across the Melbourne Metro Area now is the best time to join our highly motivated and talented team. Relationship & Authorities: Reports to the Survey Manager; Works closely with other Surveyors and Underground Service Locators; Qualifications & Experience: Essential Relevant qualifications – minimum Diploma in Surveying or working towards one; 12 months’ Surveying experience or similar; A broad understanding of surveying practices, survey deliverables and working within the construction industry; Experience with Trimble/Leica and GNSS equipment; Demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication skills. White Card Desirable First Aid Certificate; Working within the Rail corridor Certification (State authority dependent); Knowledge of 12d Field Software, Proficient in both 2D and 3D CAD deliverables (AutoCAD, Liscad, Briscad) Key Responsibilities: In this role, you will be responsible carrying out various survey roles whilst liaising with multiple stakeholders along the way. More specifically, your duties will include but not be limited to: Construction Set Out Surveys; Feature and level Surveys; Survey Pick Up of Underground services; Developing your trade with different techniques and technological advancements in our industry Adapt to clients requests and have sound reporting skills Manage and control survey documentation As-built drawings; Maintaining/operating of GPS and Total Station equipment; Mentoring of junior staff; Processing of site data;
