About the Role We have an exciting opportunity to join our supportive team at R ichard Hadlee Retirement Village Belfast, Christchurch in a Lead Maintenance role . This is a Full Time position working Monday to Friday 0800-1630 In this role you will: Lead a multi-disciplinary team to provide the village with efficient and effective maintenance services, ensuring that facilities and grounds are fit for purpose and provide a safe environment for all Complete the planned preventative maintenance and refurbishment programme by working with the Ryman Property team and Facilities Manager Be a health & safety champion by ensuring that all health and safety policies and procedures are adhered to by staff and contractors, always providing a safe environment for residents, staff and visitors Form strong relationships and work closely with and support your team and colleagues About You To thrive in our supportive and caring environment you will have: Previous experience in a lead Maintenance role (trade qualifications are an advantage but not essential) Ability to lead a motivated and productive team and a varied contractor and supplier base Sound problem-solving abilities with excellent attention to detail Strong communication skills with experience in producing periodic maintenance and H&S reports A reliable, friendly and professional manner About Ryman Ryman is a leader in retirement living and care, employing over 7,700 people in New Zealand and Australia across a wide range of areas, including nursing, village operations, sales, technology, design, and corporate roles.
