Join Giltrap Group as a Sales Manager! Are you passionate about cars and people? Do you thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment? We have an exciting opportunity for a talented Sales Manager to join our team! This role offers the chance to drive your career forward in a supportive and engaging environment. Your key responsibilities will include: Oversee all aspects of new and used vehicle sales, including stock management, pricing and valuation. Manage trade-in appraisals to ensure accurate valuation and strong gross margin using Auto Play accurately, providing regular reports to the General Manager. Maintain optimal inventory levels and ensure vehicles are presented to dealership standards. Ensure all used vehicle listings meet manufacturer and legal requirements, including accurate and compliant Trade Me uploads. Work with marketing teams to plan promotions, campaigns, and lead generation activities Resolve escalated customer concerns and support sales staff in handling complex negotiations. Track and report key metrics: sales volumes, margins, lead conversion, and inventory turns. As a Sales Manager , you will Lead, motivate, and coach the sales team to achieve monthly, quarterly and annual targets. Monitor individual and team performance, providing regular feedback and performance reviews. Implement sales processes that drive conversion, customer satisfaction, and profitability using dealership and Group systems. Set daily/weekly KPIs and ensure accountability. Ensure exceptional customer service across all touchpoints. Previous experience in a sales leadership or management role within the automotive industry. Minimum 3 years. About You Our ideal candidate should have the natural ability to build rapport with a range of people, and have a passion for delivering the best customer service with every interaction. We're looking for someone with: Excellent leadership skills, integrity and time management skills. A strong understanding of motor vehicle sales processes, KPIs, CRM systems, and dealership management systems. At least two years experience in sales management or a similar role.
