The Job: The successful candidates will be responsible for providing technical services covering solution design, project implementation, systems support and day-to-day operations on System Platforms (Windows Platform ) for projects in government and enterprise. The successful candidate will have: Key Responsibilities Infrastructure Operations & Support: Provide administration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of enterprise Windows Server environments across physical, virtualized (VMware/Hyper-V), and cloud platforms. Compliance & Security: Ensure all Windows infrastructure strictly adheres to customers’ security regulations, baseline IT Security Guidelines, and regular vulnerability patching cycles. Active Directory & Identity Management: Manage and optimize Active Directory (AD), Group Policy Objects (GPOs), DNS, DHCP, and Public Key Infrastructure (PKI). Automation & Scripting: Drive operational efficiency by automating routine provisioning, patching, and reporting tasks using PowerShell. Incident & Problem Management: Provide level 2 and level 3 support on technical incidents, performing root-cause analysis (RCA) and implementing preventive measures. Project Delivery: Collaborate with project managers, security officers, and external stakeholders to deliver robust infrastructure solutions on time and within scope. Documentation: Maintain comprehensive system architecture diagrams, standard operating procedures (SOPs), Computer Operations Procedure Manual (COPM) and disaster recovery playbooks. Requirements & Qualifications Education: High Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline. Experience: Minimum 7 years of hands-on experience in enterprise Windows systems administration and engineering, with at least 3 years supporting large-scale enterprise environments—preferably within or for HKSAR Government departments or public sector projects . Technical Expertise: Deep knowledge of Windows Server core services (AD DS, ADFS, DNS, DHCP, IIS, Clustering/Failover). Strong experience with virtualization platforms (VMware vSphere ESXi & Hyper-V). Proven track record in system hardening, security baseline implementation, and vulnerability remediation (e.g., Nessus scanning, WSUS, SCCM/MECM). Proficiency in automation and scripting using PowerShell . Experience with IBM Instana / IBM NetCool Management / Solarwinds / ManageEngine / Zabbix would be an advantage Experience with Backup software such as 鼎甲/愛數/Veeam/Netbackup would be an advantage Certifications: Professional certifications such as MCSE , MCITP , or Microsoft Certified: Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate are highly preferred. Professional certifications of Huawei products’ certification, and / or ITAI (信创, Xinchuang ) and SAN Storage would be an advantage. Compliance & Standards: Familiarity with government procurement processes, security risk assessments, and audit (SRAA/ITSA) requirements is a strong advantage. Language Skills: Excellent command of written and spoken English and Cantonese . Good communication skills for liaising with government clients and vendors. Clearance: Must be a Hong Kong Permanent Resident and be willing to undergo background checks/security clearance procedures
