P & B Auto Electrical Limited, part of the family-owned P & B Group, is expanding – and we are searching for a qualified Field Service Auto Electrician to join our team in Hamilton. We are the OEM service agent for Hyundai trucks in the Waikato region. We are currently seeking an experienced permanent Auto Electrician to join our team, offering a minimum of 45 hours per week and a maximum of 60 hours per week. The role will involve the following tasks – · Carry out all Automotive Electrical installations, servicing, and repairs. · Maintain and repair electrical wiring and electrical and electronic systems in vehicles. · Identifying faults and repair while off site. · Fonterra site work involving automated pallet shuttle system repair & maintenance · Ability to service automotive air conditioning systems · Cummins engine repairs · Work closely with other stakeholders and provide excellent customer service. You will have: At least 3 years of work experience as an automotive electrician. Experience in pallet shuttle repairs and maintenance. Experience working on Cummins engines. Ability to service automotive air conditioning systems. Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team when required. Excellent verbal & written communication skills. Great diagnostic skills with the ability to ‘think on your feet’ and ‘problem solve’. Positive, can-do attitude. A passion for providing excellent customer service, & ‘getting it right first time’. What we offer: Minimum guaranteed hours of 45 hours per week, with overtime as approved. Pay rate from $38.00 - $44.00 per hour. Field service vehicle, mobile phone, and laptop.
