Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Data Centre Fitting-out Project Manager (PM) to oversee the critical transition of "shell and core" facilities into fully functional, high-density, and mission-critical environments. This specialized role focuses on interior high-tech infrastructure, MEP coordination, cleanroom protocols, and seamless handover. Key Responsibilities Technical Fit-Out & MEP Integration: Oversee white space structural layouts, raised flooring systems, and heavy-load ceiling grids. Manage Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) installations, including PDUs, Busway systems, In-Row cooling, and precision close-control units. Supervise structured cabling (fiber/copper routing, overhead trays, patch panels). Procurement & Cleanroom Management: Coordinate tight delivery schedules for long-lead equipment (server racks, biometric security pods, distribution boards). Enforce strict cleanroom protocols and dust control prior to testing. Commissioning, Handover & Security: Manage progressive testing (Level 1 to Level 5 IST) to ensure electrical and thermal stability. Compile as-built technical manuals and asset registries for local Data Centre Operations handover. Oversee physical security (biometrics, CCTV, security cages) and fire suppression systems (VESDA, gas clean agents). Requirements Education: Recognized University Degree or Diploma in Building Services Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or relevant disciplines. Experience: Minimum 8 years’ relevant working experience, including at least 3 years at managerial level (preferably in live data centres or server hall fitting-out projects). Professional Qualification & Supervisory Experience: At least 1 year of post-qualification supervisory experience in Electrical / BS / Mechanical installations. Must possess one of the following professional memberships: Registered Professional Engineer (RPE in ELL / BSS / MCL), OR Corporate Member of HKIE (MHKIE in ELL / BSS / MCL), OR Member of an overseas engineering institution with mutual recognition with HKIE (e.g., CIBSE, IMechE, IET). Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of airflow management, critical power loops (busducts, rPDUs), cooling systems, and architectural containment partitioning. Languages & Skills: Native in Cantonese ; good command of Putonghua and English . Excellent communication and presentation skills (both verbal & written). Self-motivated and independent, with strong business acumen. (Note: Candidates with less experience will be considered for a lower position.)
