Experianced Utility Locator and Surveyors

🚨 We’re Hiring – Service Locators & Surveyors 🚨 Positions Available: Service Locators Surveyors Qualifications & experience *A Construction White Card; *Dial Before You Dig accreditation. *Thorough experience using Electromagnetic locating equipment. *Experience using Ground Penetrating Radar Equipment. * Strong communication and interpersonal skills; *Commitment to exceptional customer service; *Willingness to learn new skills; and *A positive and professional attitude to work and safety. * Sound understanding of AS 5488-2019 Classification of Subsurface Utility Information *Current Australian Drivers Licence *Rail Industry and Confined Spaces accreditation is desirable, but not essential. *Previous experience in Utility Mapping and GPS Positioning. Tasks & responsibilities SERVICE LOCATOR *Have the ability to multitask, prioritise work and meet deadlines * Competently ascertain and investigate the location of underground utilities and corresponding infrastructure. Reading and understanding ‘Before You Dig’ plans, As Built. *Completing and submitting Investigation reports and paperwork as required; *Ensuring clients are provided with appropriate referrals to the services that meet their needs. *Provision of technical advice regarding underground services. SURVEYORS Establish survey control and reference points Conduct set-outs, levels, and measurements per project plans Perform topographic, as-built, and utility surveys Interpret and incorporate existing drawings, GIS, and DBYD plans Process field data using surveying software (e.g. Trimble, Leica, Civil 3D) Check and verify datasets, produce deliverables Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and clients Ensure compliance with MVDB safety, quality, and reporting standards For FIFO projects travel to remote sites.
