Accounting Controller (Oversea)

Key Responsibilities Financial Accounting & Reporting Oversee the full accounting cycle, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Inventory, and Tax. Ensure timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing. Prepare statutory financial statements in accordance with local GAAP and IFRS where applicable. Ensure compliance with corporate accounting policies and financial reporting standards. Financial Control & Compliance Establish and maintain strong internal controls and governance processes. Ensure compliance with local tax regulations, statutory requirements, and corporate policies. Coordinate external audits, internal audits, and regulatory inspections. Manage financial risks and recommend corrective actions when necessary. Business Partnering Provide financial guidance and support to local management and regional leadership. Analyze financial performance and recommend business improvement initiatives. Support budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and cost control activities. Team Leadership Lead, coach, and develop the local accounting team. Build strong collaboration with finance, operations, tax, legal, HR, and shared service teams. Drive continuous improvement and process standardization. Systems & Process Improvement Improve accounting processes and reporting efficiency. Support ERP implementation, finance transformation, and automation initiatives. Ensure data accuracy and integrity across financial systems. Qualifications Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA, ACCA, or equivalent professional qualification is preferred. Minimum 10 years of accounting experience , including leadership responsibilities. Strong knowledge of IFRS, financial reporting, taxation, and internal controls. Experience in multinational companies or overseas operations is highly preferred. Experience with SAP, Oracle, or other ERP systems. Strong analytical, leadership, and problem-solving skills. Excellent command of both written and spoken English. Willing to relocate and work overseas for a minimum of 3 years .
