About the role Dai Sang Group International Limited is seeking a Shipping Clerk to join our dynamic team in Tsuen Wan District. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in our import/export and customs operations. As a Shipping Clerk, you will be at the heart of our logistics operations, ensuring the smooth movement of goods through our supply chain. You will be responsible for coordinating shipping activities, managing documentation, and liaising with various stakeholders to ensure timely and compliant delivery of shipments. This role is essential to maintaining the efficiency and reliability of our international trade operations. Key responsibilities Processing and preparing shipping documentation, including bills of lading and commercial invoice Coordinating with freight forwarders, shipping lines, and customs brokers to arrange transportation of goods Tracking shipments and maintaining accurate records of all shipping activities and status updates Ensuring compliance with import/export regulations and customs requirements for all shipments Preparing customs declarations and ensuring all documentation is complete and accurate Resolving shipping issues and discrepancies, including damaged goods and delivery delays Maintaining organised filing systems for all shipping records and documentation Supporting the logistics team with general administrative tasks as required What we're looking for High school diploma or equivalent qualification as a minimum Proven experience as a Shipping Clerk or similar role within the logistics or import/export industry Strong knowledge of shipping procedures, customs regulations, and import/export compliance Proficiency in using shipping and logistics software systems Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation preparation Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment Familiarity with Hong Kong customs procedures and regulations is highly desirable Basic computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
