Responsibilities • Manage the performance of Consultants and Contractors to ensure workmanship quality and knowledge on value engineering, and push the progress forward in a safe and timely manner; • Monitor the overall construction life-cycle including planning, implementing, monitoring, etc; • Prepare tender and review technical submission; • Liaise with all internal and external stakeholders in achieving site project objectives; • Review technical requirements, identify potential problems, provide expert technical advice, and resolve technical problem with consultants and contractors; • Monitor and review site planning, construction program, sequence, quality and progress of works, and preparation of statutory submission by contractors; • Perform site supervision, oversee contractors’ performance. Requirements • Bachelor’s Degree or above in Building, Construction Management, Civil Engineering or related disciplines; • 15-20 years of related experience with minimum 10 years of Project-in-charge role; • Previous working experience with property developers or contractors on Hong Kong residential projects is a must; • Membership of CIOB/HKIE or equivalent is an advantage; • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills and able to manage professional consultants; • Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese.
