Duties: Quality System Management (IATF 16949): Maintain, monitor, and continuously improve the Quality Management System (QMS) in strict accordance with IATF 16949 standards. Support internal quality audits as well as external audits conducted by customers and third-party certification bodies. Customer Claim Handling: Lead the initial response and containment activities for customer quality complaints. Conduct thorough root-cause investigations utilizing structured problem-solving methodologies (e.g., 8D reports , 5-Principles/5 Whys ). Prepare and submit professional, timely countermeasure reports to clients. Data Analysis & Reporting: Analyze manufacturing and inspection data to track quality KPIs and monitor defect trends. Report critical quality metrics and improvement recommendations to management to prevent defect recurrence. On-site Inspection Guidance & Training: Supervise, mentor, and train QC inspectors and on-site operators on proper inspection standards, testing procedures, and quality protocols. Ensure compliance with standard operating procedures (SOPs) on the production floor. Qualifications: Minimum 5 years of hands-on Quality Control (QC) experience within the manufacturing industry , with mandatory experience in the automotive industry . Practical background combining both QC and QA functions is strongly preferred. Demonstrated practical experience using various precision measuring instruments to supervise, inspect, and train subordinates effectively. Thorough working knowledge of IATF 16949 and quality problem-solving tools (8D, 5-Why, 7 QC Tools).
