Positions: Sessional Research Supervisor Positions (Hobart TAS and Perth WA campuses) Institution: Australian National Institute of Management and Commerce (IMC) Location: Hobart and Perth campus IMC is seeking expressions of interest from experienced and research‑active academics to join our Hobart or Perth campuses as Sessional Research Supervisors for the Master of Business Research program. This role offers the opportunity to supervise postgraduate research students, contribute to high‑quality research outcomes, and participate in the delivery of research methods coursework. About the Role As a Sessional Research Supervisor, you will: Provide face‑to‑face research supervision to Master of Business Research students Guide students through proposal development, methodology, data analysis, and thesis completion Ensure academic integrity, ethical compliance, and scholarly rigour Provide timely and constructive feedback on research work Contribute to teaching in research methods units where required Disciplines of Interest We welcome applications from researchers in Business and Management: Business Management Business Analytics Accounting Marketing Finance Management Business Information Systems Work Organisational Studies Appointment Details Multiple sessional roles available Commencement: October 2026 Location: Perth Campus Commitment: Up to 5 hours per week, on campus during term time Employment type: Casual / Sessional Remuneration: Based on qualifications and experience About You You will have: A PhD or doctoral qualification in a relevant business discipline Evidence of being research active within the past 5 years Previous experience supervising postgraduate research students Strong knowledge of research methodologies Understanding of human research ethics and institutional research protocols Excellent communication, organisational, and time‑management skills How to Apply Please submit: A current CV, including your campus of interest Details of two academic referees Please include your campus of interest, which includes Perth or Hobart Applications close: 10th September 2026 IMC reserves the right to close applications early if suitable candidates are appointed.
