About the Role As the CDC Marketing Manager, you will lead the strategic direction and execution of the Chemist Discount Centre (CDC) marketing program, driving brand growth through commercially focused, customer-led initiatives. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will develop and deliver integrated marketing campaigns, optimise catalogue performance, and create initiatives that strengthen customer engagement and support member success. This is an exciting leadership opportunity for an experienced marketing professional who thrives in a fast-paced retail environment. You will combine strategic thinking with hands-on execution, influence key stakeholders across the business, and deliver measurable marketing outcomes that contribute to the continued growth and success of the CDC brand. Key Responsibilities Develop and deliver the CDC marketing strategy, leading integrated campaigns and brand initiatives that drive commercial growth, strengthen brand awareness, and enhance the customer experience across all channels. Own the end-to-end marketing calendar and catalogue program, ensuring campaigns are delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements, while maintaining a consistent brand presence across digital, in-store, loyalty, and promotional activity. Partner with cross-functional teams including Merchandise, Loyalty, Digital, Retail Operations, and Member Engagement to execute customer-focused campaigns, seasonal promotions, and strategic initiatives that maximise commercial performance. Analyse campaign performance and market trends, providing actionable insights, post-campaign reporting, and recommendations to continuously improve marketing effectiveness, customer engagement, and return on investment. Lead marketing support across the CDC store network, overseeing marketing activity for new store openings, relocations, rebrands, ownership changes, and store closures while ensuring seamless member communications and brand consistency. Manage the CDC marketing budget and build strong member relationships, providing ongoing marketing support, driving campaign adoption, resolving member enquiries, and ensuring marketing investment delivers measurable business outcomes. Key Requirements Degree in Marketing, Business, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience) with a minimum of 2 years' experience in a senior marketing role. Demonstrated experience developing and executing integrated marketing strategies, ideally within a retail, pharmacy, FMCG, or consumer-focused environment, with a strong understanding of campaign and catalogue management. Strong commercial acumen with the ability to translate business objectives into marketing initiatives that drive customer acquisition, engagement, sales growth, and return on investment. Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills, with proven experience influencing and collaborating across cross-functional teams, external agencies, and supplier partners. Highly organised project manager with the ability to lead multiple campaigns simultaneously, manage competing priorities, and deliver high-quality outcomes on time and within budget. Strong analytical and problem-solving capability, with experience interpreting campaign performance data, identifying opportunities for improvement, and ensuring marketing activities comply with relevant regulatory and brand requirements.
