About the Team You'll join a small, collaborative team that includes: A principal-led practice with a clear focus on growth and succession Two experienced family lawyers you'll be working alongside directly Dedicated paralegal and administrative support The practice places real emphasis on mentorship and hands-on development from its principals, with a culture built around personal service rather than volume — you won't be just a number, and neither will your clients. About the Role Run a caseload of family law matters — property settlements, parenting disputes, financial agreements and family violence/intervention order matters — with a high degree of autonomy Work closely with the practice's principals as the firm continues to grow Bring, develop and grow your own client relationships and referral network over time Play an active role in the practice's business development and profile-building Be recognised as a senior voice with a genuine trajectory toward equity partnership Salary & Features of the position: $170,000 - $200,000 Guide Range, dependent on experience A genuine, structured pathway to equity partnership A healthy, consistent pipeline of family law work from day one A boutique practice with a growing reputation for the calibre of its people Close mentorship and support from the practice's principals A collaborative, personal culture — not a big-firm environment Genuine autonomy over how you build and run your practice Requirements: 7+ years' or more PAE in Family Law A genuine interest in business development — comfortable networking and growing your own client base Confidence running property settlements and parenting matters independently Strong drafting, negotiation and advocacy skills A collaborative, team-first mindset suited to a close-knit practice Interested in this position?
