Te Puna Hauora is a Kaupapa Maori Health & Social Services provider based on the North Shore. We provide high quality, professional yet accessible & affordable health care and support to Whanau in the surrounding communities. Our comprehensive wrap around services includes GP Clinic, Tamariki Ora Team, Disease State Management Team, Community/Whanau Support and Mental Health Teams, Whanau Ora, Pharmacy, Dental Clinic, Healthy Lifestyles and more. We are currently seeking a reliable, experienced & enthusiastic Maintenance Worker to join our Team. Purpose of this role to provide a wide range of assistance and support of the upkeep of Te Puna Hauora Grounds and Buildings. The successful applicant must be prepared to gain a good understanding of the Kaupapa & policies of the Te Puna Hauora. Communication & organisational skills are essential, and you must have the ability to establish strong working relationships with a wide range of people. The person we require will have: · A practical skill set with a trade background or hands-on experience in general repairs and maintenance · A strong work ethic and an impeccable eye for detail · A commitment to Health & Safety within the organisation and all daily practice · Willing to understand and uphold our Kaupapa and Māori values · Excellent communication skills with basic administrative and record keeping skills · A qualification in a trade would be nice to have, not an absolute necessity · Current Full NZ Driver’s Licence This role is part time 9.00am to 3.00pm Monday to Friday. Applicants must be eligible to work in New Zealand.
