About the role You'll be working on high-end, architecturally designed homes and quality renovations throughout Whanganui. If you take pride in your workmanship and enjoy building something you're proud of, you'll fit well into our team. You'll have the opportunity to work across a variety of interesting projects, including high-end new builds, renovations and Passive House and high-performance construction. What we Offer Monday-Friday | 7:30am-4:00pm | No weekend work Competitive hourly rate based on experience and skill level High-end residential and architectural projects Opportunity to work on Passive House and high-performance builds Variety of interesting projects Quality tools and well equipped sites Good systems and organised projects Supportive and friendly team Consistent hours and a genuine work-life balance Whanganui based work About you We're looking for an experienced carpenter who: Has solid carpentry experience and a NZ trade qualification Takes pride in precision, quality workmanship and attention to detail Has a full set of well-maintained hand tools Works well as part of a team Is reliable, honest and motivated Takes ownership of their work and cares about the finished result New Zealand citizen, permanent resident, or holds a valid NZ work visa About us Simon Penn Building Ltd is a locally owned building company with a reputation for high quality workmanship and delivering homes that are built to a high standard.
