Residential Electrician

Residential Electrician Tradestaff is looking for an experienced Residential Electrician to work with a reputable Dunedin electrical company across a range of residential projects. Location: Varied locations, Dunedin Start date: Immediate start Pay rate: $35–$40 per hour, paid weekly What you'll be doing Wiring and electrical installations for new builds and renovations Fit-offs, including lighting, switches, sockets and electrical fixtures Switchboard installation, upgrades and associated electrical work Fault finding, testing, diagnostics and repairs General residential electrical maintenance Reading and interpreting plans, drawings and specifications Identifying electrical issues and finding practical solutions on site Coordinating with builders and other trades to keep work moving Completing work to NZ electrical and safety standards What we're looking for EWRB Registered Electrician with a current Practising Licence Proven experience across residential electrical work Own electrical tools Confident working across new builds, renovations and existing homes Strong fault-finding, testing and problem-solving ability Comfortable reading plans and working to specifications Able to work independently without constant supervision High standard of workmanship and attention to detail Good understanding of NZ electrical regulations and safe working practices Reliable, professional and able to communicate well with clients and other trades Full driver's licence preferred What's in it for you?
