Commercial Coolroom & Freezer Installer Looking for a fresh challenge where your trade skills can open the door to a specialist industry? We're seeking an experienced Carpenter, Roofer, Commercial Cladder, or similar tradesperson to join a growing team installing commercial coolrooms, freezer rooms, insulated panels, and specialist doors. Full training will be provided, making this an excellent opportunity to build a long-term career while working on commercial projects throughout the South Island. Location: North Canterbury Start date: Immediate start Pay rate: $33–$36 per hour + weekly pay What's on offer? Ongoing training in a specialist trade Supportive team environment Modern equipment and quality tools on site Variety of commercial projects across the South Island Weekly pay Potential for ongoing work What you'll be doing Learn to install commercial coolrooms and freezer rooms Install insulated wall and ceiling panels under experienced guidance Fit specialist doors and hardware Read plans and complete work to a high standard Travel to commercial sites across the South Island, including occasional overnight stays What we're looking for 3+ years' experience in carpentry, roofing, commercial cladding, or a similar trade Strong work ethic and excellent attention to detail Confident using hand and power tools Ability to work independently and as part of a team Full Class 1 driver's licence Willingness to travel throughout the South Island and stay away overnight when required Site Safe is an advantage but not essential Own power tools are a bonus Why work with Tradestaff?
