Location: CHIANG MAI Employment Type: Full-time Industry: Luxury and Jewellery Job Title: Jewellery Quality & Compliance Assistant Location: [Insert Location] Department: Quality Assurance About the Role We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Jewellery Quality & Compliance Assistant to support our Quality team in ensuring product excellence and regulatory compliance across our jewellery collections. This role works closely with the Quality Coordinator and cross-functional teams (Product Development, Production), with a strong focus on pre-production validation, quality documentation, and compliance tracking . Key Responsibilities Pre-Production Quality Support Assist in checking and validating pre-production samples and prototypes Support quality inspections to ensure alignment with approved standards Track sample corrections and follow up with relevant teams Quality Systems & Documentation Support the development and maintenance of quality guidelines Create and manage a defect library for reference and training Help standardize inspection criteria and reporting tools Risk Assessment & Cross-Functional Collaboration Participate in risk assessment meetings during product development phases Support identification of potential quality risks and propose preventive actions Liaise with Product Development and Production teams to ensure quality readiness Compliance & Certification Tracking Collect and organize documentation related to material compliance (e.g. recycled metals, REACH compliance) Ensure all required certifications are properly recorded and up to date Support audits and internal compliance checks General Quality Support Assist the Quality Coordinator in daily tasks and reporting Provide backup support when required to ensure continuity of operations Requirements 1–3 years of experience in jewellery, accessories, or related manufacturing quality control Basic understanding of jewellery materials, finishing, and production processes Familiarity with compliance requirements (e.g. REACH, material certifications) is a plus Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Proactive mindset with willingness to learn and take ownership Good communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally Proficiency in Excel and documentation management What We Offer Exposure to full product lifecycle from development to production Collaborative and dynamic work environment Opportunity to join a well-established and internationally recognized jewellery brand Exposure to high-quality craftsmanship and premium product standards Why Join Us This role is designed as a key support function within the Quality team, ensuring continuity and long-term capability building.
