The Hong Kong Wetlands Conservation Association (HKWCA) is a charitable organisation founded in 2018. Our aim is to promote the conservation of wetlands and nature. HKWCA is also keen on advancing environmental education and sharing global and local experiences in wetland management. Our key works include wetland education and conservation, as well as advocacy for local wetland conservation policy and strategy. We are looking for a capable team member who is passionate about conservation, education and publicity for our wetland conservation projects. Duties: To coordinate and facilitate the implementation of habitat management measures. To perform checking of data and habitat management measures. To collaborate with the surveyors for ecological surveys and environmental monitoring. To implement educational activities, promotion and publicities. Basic Requirements: Full-time post Education: Bachelor degree or above (in ecology, environmental science, biology, geography or related disciplines). Working experience related in conservation or environmental protection is preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. Proficient command in both English and Chinese. Part-time post Education: F.5 or above 3 years of working experience (experience related to conservation or environmental protection is preferable) Proficient command in Chinese. Physically fit for outdoor work. Nice to be/have: Familiarity with ecological surveying; Experience in environmental education; Demonstrated knowledge of local ecology and environmental issues; Passion for nature conservation; Physically fit for outdoor work; Driving licnece. The contract period of this post will be until 28 Feb 2027 and subject to extension. Our office is in Quarry Bay. Candidates may need to work outdoors on a regular basis. We offer a 5-day work week for full-time post: occasionally, you are required to work on Saturday, Sunday or public holidays; compensation leave will be provided in such circumstances.
