Key Responsibilities: EHS Documentation & Sign-Off: Review, formalize, and serve as the authorized signatory for all project-specific EHS policies, risk assessments, Method Statements, Safe Work Procedures (SWPs), and regulatory filings required by the OEM. Audit Representation & Management: Act as the primary EHS point of contact during internal, client, and OEM safety audits. Lead audit preparation, walk-throughs, and closure of Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPAs). Regulatory & OEM Compliance Verification: Ensure all site personnel, subcontractor activities, and operational workflows comply with local occupational health and safety legislation and OEM-specific safety frameworks (e.g., Working at Heights, Electrical Safety, RF Exposure, PPE compliance). Incident & Hazard Management: Oversee investigation procedures for any health, safety, or environmental incidents, ensure standard root-cause analysis reporting, and sign off on incident submission reports to the OEM. Safety Alignment & Advisory: Provide expert guidance to field teams and leadership on resolving complex safety roadblocks or field non-conformances without compromising service delivery timelines. Required Qualifications & Experience: Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Engineering, Industrial Safety, or a related technical discipline. Minimum 5+ years of hands-on EHS management experience, specifically within the Telecom, Tower Infrastructure, or Utilities sectors Certifications (Mandatory): Certified EHS Professional credential or recognized regional Equivalent). Signatory Status: Valid local license or certification permitting official authorization and sign-off on statutory and corporate safety documents. Proven track record of managing and successfully clearing OEM safety audits (e.g., Ericsson, Nokia, Huawei, ZTE, or major TowerCos). In-depth knowledge of local safety, environmental, and labor laws along with high-risk field operation safety protocols (Work at Heights, High Voltage, Fiber Operations, Rigging).
