About the role Chilled Status Limited is seeking a skilled and experienced Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Engineer to join our team in Hobsonville, Auckland. This is a full-time position offering the opportunity to work with cutting-edge refrigeration and air conditioning systems across a diverse range of commercial and industrial applications. In this role, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, repair and commissioning of refrigeration and air conditioning systems, contributing to the smooth operation of our clients' facilities and ensuring compliance with all relevant industry standards and regulations. Key responsibilities Install, maintain and repair refrigeration and air conditioning systems for commercial and industrial clients Conduct routine maintenance inspections and servicing to ensure optimal system performance and reliability Diagnose faults and troubleshoot system malfunctions using appropriate diagnostic equipment and tools Commission new refrigeration and air conditioning systems and verify compliance with design specifications Perform gas charging, pressure testing and leak detection on refrigeration systems Ensure all work complies with Health and Safety at Work Act 2015, Building Code and EPA refrigerant handling regulations Maintain accurate records of all maintenance, repair and commissioning work carried out Communicate effectively with clients regarding system performance and maintenance requirements Respond promptly to emergency breakdown calls and provide timely solutions Keep up to date with industry developments and best practice techniques What we're looking for Trade certificate in refrigeration or air conditioning or equivalent recognised qualification Electrical service technician license Practical background experience in engineering systems and disciplines.
