Responsibilities: Provide database support for Oracle, GaussDB, MSSQL and Mysql databases within Linux and Wintel environment. Undertake DBA role to manage all databases, including database patching, upgrade, performance tuning, monitoring, backup and recovery. Provide technical assistance to the application team for project development. Install and configure various Oracle database products and HA solutions, including Oracle RAC, Oracle Data Guard and GaussDB. Perform development using PL/SQL, Unix scripts & JAVA. Perform system administration & monitoring on Linux & Windows servers. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 2+ year proven experience in Oracle database administration and support is preferred. Experience in database performance tuning and optimization. Familiarity with data modeling and database design principles. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate technical information effectively. Good command of Chinese (Cantonese or Mandarin) and English is necessary. Experience working with financial industry and understand the technical architecture of banking systems is preferred.
