Project Manager

About the role We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the delivery of Data Center Infrastructure projects in Hongkong. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing projects from planning through execution and handover, ensuring delivery is on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with the highest quality and safety standards. Key responsibilities Lead and manage Data Center Infrastructure projects, ensuring successful delivery on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. Plan, coordinate, and oversee all phases of project execution, including procurement, logistics, installation, testing, commissioning, and project handover. Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, resource allocation, risk registers, and progress reports. Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams to define project scope, technical requirements, and deliverables. Prepare, monitor, and control internal and client-facing project schedules, work plans, and scope documentation. Conduct site surveys to assess existing conditions, verify drawings and specifications, identify discrepancies, and develop practical solutions before and during construction. Monitor project progress, identify risks and potential delays, and implement mitigation plans to ensure project milestones are achieved. Ensure compliance with local regulations, company policies, quality standards, and Health, Safety, Security, and Environmental (HSSE) requirements. Manage project budgets, variations, change orders, and cost control throughout the project lifecycle. Lead regular project meetings and provide timely progress updates to management and key stakeholders. About you Bachelor's degree in engineering or related discipline. Mechanical Engineering is preferred. Fluent in spoken and written English. Minimum 3–5 years of project management experience in Data Center Infrastructure, Mission Critical Facilities, or related construction projects. Practical experience managing white space fit-out works, including racks, containment systems, cable trays/baskets, structured cabling, power distribution (rPDUs, busway), and associated MEP coordination is highly preferred. Familiar with construction of site management, field supervision, installation practices, and site safety requirements. Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining strong customer relationships. Excellent planning, scheduling, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to coordinate effectively with customers, consultants, subcontractors, vendors, and internal stakeholders. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and project scheduling software such as Microsoft Project or Primavera P6. Self-motivated, disciplined, proactive, and able to work independently with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
