Risk Manager Reports To: Head of Risk Management We are seeking an experienced and strategic Risk Manager to strengthen our enterprise risk management capabilities and help protect the organization against operational, financial, strategic, regulatory, and emerging risks. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with senior leadership and cross-functional business units to develop risk management strategies, enhance organizational resilience, and influence key business decisions. The successful candidate will play a critical role in embedding a strong risk culture while supporting the organization's long-term growth and sustainability. Key Responsibilities Enterprise Risk Management Identify, assess, and evaluate strategic, operational, financial, compliance, safety, cybersecurity, and reputational risks across the organization. Maintain and enhance the enterprise risk register, ensuring risks are appropriately documented, assessed, and monitored. Facilitate enterprise-wide risk assessments and risk workshops with business units. Risk Analysis & Reporting Analyze risk likelihood, impact, velocity, and effectiveness of existing controls. Prioritize risks based on the organization's risk appetite and strategic objectives. Develop clear and concise reports, dashboards, and presentations for Senior Management, Executive Management, and the Board. Monitor Key Risk Indicators (KRIs) and emerging risks, providing timely recommendations. Risk Mitigation & Business Resilience Design, implement, and monitor effective risk mitigation strategies and action plans. Partner with business units to strengthen internal controls and reduce organizational vulnerabilities. Develop contingency plans to improve operational resilience and business continuity. Support crisis management and incident response activities when required. Governance & Compliance Develop, review, and maintain enterprise risk management policies, frameworks, standards, and procedures. Ensure alignment with applicable laws, regulations, industry standards, and corporate governance requirements. Promote best practices in enterprise risk management across the Group. Stakeholder Engagement Build strong partnerships with business leaders and departmental stakeholders. Provide professional advice on risk-related matters to support strategic and operational decision-making. Foster collaboration across departments to integrate risk management into daily business activities. Risk Culture & Capability Building Promote a proactive and risk-aware culture throughout the organization. Conduct training sessions, workshops, and awareness programs on risk management principles and best practices. Coach business units in identifying, assessing, and managing risks effectively. Continuous Improvement Stay informed of emerging risks, industry developments, regulatory changes, and evolving risk management practices. Recommend process improvements that enhance organizational resilience and operational effectiveness. Contribute to the ongoing maturity of the Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) framework. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Risk Management, Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Engineering, Occupational Health & Safety, Law , or a related discipline. Minimum 10–15 years of progressive experience in Enterprise Risk Management, Operational Risk, Internal Audit, Compliance, Business Continuity, Financial Risk, or related disciplines. Experience supporting executive management or board-level reporting is highly desirable. Experience in diversified corporate or group environments is an advantage. Skills & Competencies We're looking for someone who brings both technical expertise and leadership capability. Technical Skills Strong knowledge of Enterprise Risk Management frameworks (ISO 31000, COSO ERM, etc.) Excellent analytical, investigative, and critical thinking skills Experience conducting enterprise risk assessments and control evaluations Strong report writing and presentation skills Ability to translate complex risks into practical business recommendations Excellent written and spoken English. Leadership & Interpersonal Skills Strategic mindset with strong business acumen Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills Strong communication and presentation abilities High integrity, professionalism, and accountability Ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and facilitate workshops Adaptable, proactive, and solution-oriented
