Job Summary : The Finance Manager is responsible for the financial operations of the MarTech business in Thailand, ensuring financial accuracy, compliance with Thai regulations, and providing strategic support to the business. This role involves managing budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, cash flow, and providing insights to executive management and senior leadership to guide company growth. Key Responsibilities : 1.Financial Planning and Analysis : Develop and manage annual budgets, forecasts, and financial projections for the business objectives. Provide regular financial analysis, including variance analysis, to help management make data-driven decisions. Monitor financial performance and provide recommendations for optimizing profitability, cost management, and financial risk mitigation. 2.Financial Reporting : Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) in compliance with Thai accounting standards and tax regulations. Ensure timely and accurate submission of financial reports to internal stakeholders, including executive management and senior leadership. 3. Cash Flow and Cost Management : Monitor and manage the company’s cash flow, working capital, and overall liquidity. Develop strategies to control costs and ensure the business operates efficiently, even during periods of delayed cash inflows. Monitor the collection of service payments within the agreed timelines and ensure payments to clients are accurate and in accordance with terms. Additionally, manage the Aging Report, track overdue payments, and systematically analyze and resolve related issues. Control the payment cycle efficiently and perform reconciliations of accounts payable, invoices, and receipts from clients. Coordinate with financial institutions in preparing loan application documents, supporting materials for credit analysis, and providing required data. Also, monitor the process of applying for new credit lines or renewing existing credit limits to ensure efficiency. 4. Risk Management : Identify and manage financial risks, such as changes in tax regulations and delays in customer payments. Identify and manage customer-related risks, such as credit risk from late payments and the risk of losing customers due to contract cancellations or non-renewal of service agreements. Identify and manage legal risks arising from non-compliance with tax and financial regulations, as well as violations of intellectual property rights and other relevant laws. Identify and manage operational risks, including cost control and operational efficiency, as well as internal processes that may be ineffective or improperly managed. 5. Strategic Decision Support : Provide financial insights and recommendations to executive management and senior management on pricing strategies, cost control, and improving profit margins. Assist in evaluating new client contracts, client agreements, and business opportunities with financial analysis. 6. Team Management : Lead and mentor finance and accounting team, helping develop their skills and ensuring that all financial transactions are processed accurately and on time. Ensure compliance with company policies and promote a culture of continuous improvement within the finance and accounting team. Qualifications : Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. A professional certification such as CPA, CMA, or equivalent is preferred. Minimum of 5 years of experience in finance or accounting, with at least 2 years in a managerial role. Experience within an online marketing, publisher, advertising industry is a plus. Experience in a publicly listed company or a company in the stock market will be considered a special advantage. Skills : Strong understanding of financial regulations, accounting principles, and tax laws. Skilled in using Google services (e.g., Google Sheets, Google Docs, Google Drive) effectively for work and data management, including the integration and use of AI tools. Experienced in financial management software (e.g. Microsoft Dynamics, SAP, or other accounting systems). Strong communication skills in Thai and English, with the ability to collaborate across teams. Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
