About the role Join the dynamic team at Sunbond Optix Ltd as a Software Engineer. In this full-time position based in Kwun Tong District, you will play a pivotal role in developing vision software solutions that drive the company's growth in the eyewear industry. What you'll be doing Design, develop and maintain high-quality software applications that meet business requirements Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project objectives and translate them into technical solutions Write clean, efficient and well-documented code using the latest software engineering best practices Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, architecture design, implementation, testing and deployment Continuously improve existing systems and identify opportunities for process optimization Provide technical support and troubleshoot issues as they arise Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to enhance the company's competitive edge What we're looking for Bachelor’s Degree or above in Computer Science, Data Science, or related disciplines. 1 to 2 years experience in image processing, computer vision, and/or GUI Programming Strong programming skills and knowledge in Python, C/C++, MATLAB Strong understanding of programming languages such as Python, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS, and SQL Experience in computer vision, image analysis and OpenCV is preferred Experience in full-stack development experience is preferred Knowledge of 3D Printer firmware is a plus but not essential Knowledge of deep learning, large language models (LLMs), and machine learning algorithms, neural networks is a plus but not essential Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment Proficiency in both spoken and written English and Chinese About us Sunbond Optix Ltd is a leading specialist in quality testing equipment for the eyewear industry. If you just finished reading one job ad and felt paralyzed by choice, you're not alone—but this scale is actually an advantage. It means you can afford to be selective.
Start by geography and language. The majority of engineer ads—117,837 of them—have the job posting text written in English. Use that as one filter, but remember: the ad text language tells you nothing about whether the role actually requires you to speak English day-to-day. Read the job description carefully.
