Air Freight Operation Officer - Thailand

About the role We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented Executive to support our Airfreight Operations team in Thailand. In this role, you will coordinate daily air import and export shipments, ensuring accurate documentation and smooth communication with customers, airlines, and internal teams to meet delivery deadlines efficiently. Key responsibilities Coordinate daily Airfreight (Import and Export) shipments, ensuring all operational requirements are met accurately and on time. Prepare and issue Air Waybills (AWB) with complete and accurate details, distributing them to customers and relevant suppliers. Send timely Pre-Alerts to destination agents and proactively follow up on Proof of Delivery (POD) statuses for closed files. Process shipment data accurately into the internal logistics operating system (CargoRunner) to maintain real-time visibility for the business. Coordinate with internal departments, such as Customer Service and Finance, to resolve basic operational queries and ensure smooth workflows. Communicate daily with external vendors, including airlines, shipping lines, and transport providers, to arrange cargo pick-up and delivery. Verify basic vendor invoices and shipping documents for accuracy before passing files to the relevant team for processing. About you Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. 1-2 years of experience in Airfreight Operations, Customer Service, or Freight Forwarding. Good understanding of standard airfreight documentation (e.g., AWB, DO) and basic import/export processes. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook) and comfortable learning basic logistics operating systems. Good command of English and Thai (Written and Spoken) to communicate effectively with local vendors and the regional network. Strong attention to detail with the ability to complete daily operational tasks accurately within strict deadlines.
