Job Description: Staging Supervisor Position Summary The Staging Supervisor is responsible for overseeing staging operations to ensure efficient material flow, inventory accuracy, and timely material availability for production. This role focuses on optimizing staging processes, improving operational performance through data-driven decision-making, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to support manufacturing objectives. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong leadership, analytical capability, and a continuous improvement mindset. Key Responsibilities Supervise daily staging operations to ensure materials are prepared and delivered to production on time. Monitor material flow, inventory accuracy, and staging performance to support production schedules. Coordinate closely with Production Planning, Warehouse, Logistics, and Manufacturing teams to ensure seamless operations. Analyze operational data and KPIs to identify performance gaps and improvement opportunities. Lead process improvement initiatives using Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Kaizen, and other continuous improvement methodologies. Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions for operational issues. Develop and maintain staging standards, work instructions, and best practices. Utilize ERP, MES, Power BI, Excel, and other digital tools to improve visibility and operational efficiency. Drive inventory accuracy through effective material control and cycle count support. Lead, coach, and develop staging team members to achieve operational excellence. Support Smart Factory, Digital Manufacturing, and Industry 4.0 initiatives where applicable. Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and quality standards. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, or a related field. Minimum 3–5 years of experience in Staging, Production Planning, Inventory Control, Warehouse Operations, Logistics, or Manufacturing Operations. Good understanding of Production Planning, Material Flow, Inventory Control, and Manufacturing Operations. Experience in shop floor improvement, process optimization, Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Kaizen, or other continuous improvement initiatives. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret operational data and identify opportunities for improvement. Hands-on experience using data to support decision-making and improve operational performance. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, Power Query; Power Pivot is an advantage). Experience with Power BI, SQL, ERP, MES, or other analytics tools is highly preferred. Familiarity with KPI management, root cause analysis, and performance monitoring. Demonstrated ability to challenge existing processes and proactively implement improvements. Strong communication, leadership, and cross-functional collaboration skills. Experience in a Smart Factory, Digital Manufacturing, Automation, or Industry 4.0 environment is an advantage.
