Finance Controller

Position Summary We are looking for an experienced Finance & Accounting Manager who is capable of building and improving accounting and financial systems, not simply maintaining daily accounting operations. The successful candidate will lead accounting transformation, strengthen internal controls, optimize ERP (Odoo), improve cross-functional processes, and build a finance function that supports the company's long-term growth. Key Responsibilities Finance & Accounting Manage the full accounting cycle (GL, AR, AP, Fixed Assets, Inventory, Cost Accounting). Ensure accurate and timely month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing. Supervise tax compliance, statutory reporting, and financial statements. Ensure compliance with Thai Accounting Standards and Thai tax regulations. System Building & Process Improvement Build and improve accounting and finance processes. Develop and implement SOPs for the Finance & Accounting Department. Design and strengthen internal control procedures. Improve collaboration between Accounting, Warehouse, Purchasing, Sales and Logistics. Identify process weaknesses and implement practical improvements. Lead continuous process optimization across the finance function. ERP & Automation Lead ERP (Odoo) implementation and optimization. Improve financial workflows within the ERP system. Reduce manual processes through automation. Ensure data accuracy and integrity across all accounting modules. Work closely with operations to improve system efficiency. Inventory & Cost Control Strengthen inventory control procedures. Investigate inventory discrepancies. Improve inventory reconciliation processes. Monitor inventory valuation and Cost of Goods Sold. Improve landed cost allocation. Monitor slow-moving and obsolete inventory. Financial Reporting Prepare and analyze management reports including: Profit & Loss Balance Sheet Cash Flow AR Aging AP Aging Inventory Aging Gross Margin Analysis Budget vs Actual EBITDA Working Capital KPI Reports Provide management with timely and reliable financial information to support decision-making. Leadership Lead and develop the Finance & Accounting team. Set departmental KPIs. Coach and mentor team members. Build a high-performance finance organization. Promote accountability and continuous improvement. Qualifications Required Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance. Active CPD License. Minimum 10 years of accounting and finance experience. At least 5 years in an Accounting Manager or Finance Manager position. Experience in Import, Distribution, FMCG, Trading or Logistics companies. Proven experience building accounting systems and improving business processes. Hands-on experience implementing or optimizing ERP systems (Odoo, SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, etc.). Strong knowledge of inventory accounting, costing and warehouse operations. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. ERP (Odoo) finance processes optimized. Management reporting delivered accurately and on time. Reduction in manual work and accounting errors. Strong financial controls supporting business growth.
