Production Planning & Control Manager

Our client is a global manufacturer specializing in industrial flow control solutions. Key Responsibilities: Lead production planning and scheduling to ensure on-time delivery and smooth production flow. Develop and manage the Master Production Schedule (MPS), weekly and daily production plans. Translate customer demand into realistic production plans based on capacity, materials, and business priorities.Analyze machine capacity, manpower availability, and production constraints to optimize resources. Identify production bottlenecks and coordinate recovery actions to minimize delays. Ensure material availability and work closely with Purchasing to support production requirements. Optimize inventory levels and reduce excess, obsolete, and slow-moving materials. Collaborate with Sales and cross-functional teams on demand planning and S&OP activities. Monitor production performance and key KPIs including OTD, schedule adherence, capacity utilization, and inventory turnover. Maintain accurate ERP planning data, including BOM, routing, lead time, and planning parameters. Drive improvements in production planning processes, ERP utilization, Lean, Kaizen, and production flow. Lead, coach, and develop the Production Planning & Control team. Coordinate with Production, Quality, Engineering, Warehouse, Logistics, and other functions to ensure alignment on production priorities. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Operations Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field. Minimum 8 years of experience in production planning, with at least 3–5 years in a managerial or supervisory role. Strong experience in production planning and scheduling within a manufacturing environment. Experience with both Make-to-Order (MTO) and Make-to-Stock (MTS) production. Strong knowledge of MPS, MRP, capacity planning, material planning, inventory management, and S&OP. Experience with ERP systems and production planning processes. Strong analytical, problem-solving, decision-making, and leadership skills. Experience in Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, or continuous improvement is preferred. Experience in valves, machining, precision manufacturing, industrial equipment, or related industries is an advantage. Good command of English and comfortable working in a multinational manufacturing environment.
