Contract Administrator

Your new company: Our client is a highly regarded commercial builder with an impressive track record across commercial mixed use and refurbishment projects throughout Sydney. They are looking to add an experienced Contract Administrator to support the successful delivery of a project in the Eastern Suburbs. Your new role: Reporting to the Project Manager, you will be responsible for the commercial management of the project and will work closely with site and design teams to ensure successful project outcomes. Key duties will include: Managing subcontractor procurement and letting packages Preparing scopes of work and tender documentation Assessing subcontractor variations and progress claims Contract administration and maintaining project documentation Cost forecasting, budgeting and financial reporting Reviewing subcontractor performance and compliance Assisting with head contract administration and client reporting What you'll need to succeed: Previous experience as a Contract Administrator on commercial construction projects Demonstrated experience managing subcontract packages from procurement to final accounts Strong understanding of construction contracts and commercial processes Ability to build relationships with subcontractors, consultants and project stakeholders Excellent communication and organisational skills Relevant tertiary qualification in Construction Management, Engineering or related discipline What you'll get in return: Competitive contract rate Opportunity to work on a commercial project Supportive project team and experienced leadership group Immediate start available What you need to do now: If you are interested in this contract position mentioned above, please call Liam Baggley on 0292492237 or send an updated CV to liam.baggley@hays.com.au
