Job Description: Senior Sales Manager [Hotel Business] Position: Senior Sales Manager Department: Sales Location : Ramada Ten Ekkamai Reports To: General Manager Job Purpose The Senior Sales Manager is responsible for driving hotel room nights and event revenue within the corporate market segment (multinational corporations, local enterprises, government bodies, and embassies). This role involves developing new corporate accounts, managing key client relationships, negotiating contracts, and leading sales initiatives to achieve and exceed the hotel’s financial targets. Key Responsibilities 1. Revenue Generation & Sales Execution Proactively identify, target, and acquire new corporate accounts to generate room nights, meeting rooms, and event revenue. Conduct sales calls, client presentations, site inspections, and entertaining of potential and existing clients. Negotiate corporate rate agreements, group contracts, and corporate catering proposals in line with hotel yield management strategies. Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and economic factors to adjust sales tactics and capitalize on opportunities. 2. Account Management & Business Development Manage and retain a portfolio of key corporate accounts to maximize repeat business and long-term customer loyalty. Develop tailored corporate sales strategies and preferred vendor agreements for local and international corporate clients. Maintain an up-to-date client database and sales history using the hotel’s CRM/PMS system. 3. Operations & Cross-Departmental Coordination Collaborate closely with Reservations, Revenue Management, Front Office, and Banquet/Events teams to ensure seamless service execution and high customer satisfaction. Prepare precise sales proposals, contracts, function sheets, and banquet event orders (BEOs) following hotel policies. Work with the Revenue Manager to optimize pricing strategies during high-demand and low-demand periods. 4. Reporting & Strategy Prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales reports, account performance reviews, and sales forecasts for executive management. Participate in regular sales strategy meetings and contribute to the annual sales and marketing plan budget. Provide guidance and mentorship to junior sales executives within the team. Qualifications & Requirements Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, Marketing, or a related field. Experience: Minimum of 3–5 years of hotel sales experience, with a proven track record in the Corporate segment. Established network and existing corporate client portfolio in the hotel industry. Skills & Competencies: Strong negotiation, presentation, and closing skills. Excellent command of spoken and written English (fluency in additional languages is a plus). High level of commercial acumen and understanding of hotel revenue metrics (RevPAR, ADR, Occupancy). Proficient in Microsoft Office and hotel management systems (e.g., Opera PMS, Salesforce, or similar CRM platforms). Professional personal presentation with excellent interpersonal and leadership skills.
