Job Description – Excavator Operator Cramps Earthmoving Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Excavator Operator to join our team. The successful applicant will be responsible for operating a range of excavators across various civil and earthmoving projects throughout the Hunter, Central Coast, and regional NSW. Cramps Earthmoving is a well-established and locally respected company with over a decade of industry experience. We have built long-standing relationships with multiple local and regional councils, as well as private contractors, delivering reliable Earthmoving services across a wide range of infrastructure and civil projects. Our reputation is built on professionalism, dependable equipment, and a strong commitment to safety and quality outcomes. Duties include: Operating excavators from 3T to 13T for civil, trenching, detailed excavation, and general earthworks Reading and interpreting plans and site levels Performing daily pre-start checks and basic machine maintenance Following all site safety requirements and company WHS policies Working independently or within a small team to complete allocated tasks efficiently Communicating effectively with supervisors, clients, and other operators onsite Requirements: Minimum 2 years' experience operating excavators in a civil or earthmoving environment Valid Excavator VOC or Statement of Attainment White Card (Construction Induction) Sound understanding of safety procedures and operational protocols Ability to work unsupervised with a high level of initiative HR or HC licence is desirable but not essential PLAT Ticket is desirable but not essential Australian citizenship is required for this position
