Position Overview We are looking for a commercially driven and innovative Commercial Director to lead the commercial strategy across Bodega and Slumber Party , two dynamic hostel brands focused on social travel, experiences, nightlife and community. The role will oversee Sales, Revenue, Marketing, Distribution and Partnerships , with responsibility for maximizing occupancy, room revenue, ancillary income and overall profitability across the portfolio. Key Responsibilities Develop and execute the commercial strategy for Bodega and Slumber Party. Drive occupancy, ADR, RevPAR and total revenue across multiple properties. Lead Revenue Management, Sales, Marketing and Distribution strategies. Optimize performance across OTAs, direct channels, wholesalers and travel platforms. Develop commercial strategies for peak periods, low season and destination-specific demand. Grow revenue from events, experiences, F&B, tours, activities and other ancillary products. Build partnerships with travel agencies, tour operators, universities, event organizers and strategic travel partners. Strengthen brand positioning and digital presence across key source markets. Use data, market trends, competitor analysis and customer behavior to identify growth opportunities. Work closely with Operations to ensure commercial initiatives are operationally achievable and aligned with guest experience. Develop promotional campaigns, packages and tactical offers that drive profitable demand. Monitor commercial KPIs, budgets, forecasts and return on investment. Identify new markets and distribution opportunities for portfolio expansion. Lead, coach and develop a high-performing commercial team. Present commercial performance, forecasts and strategic recommendations to senior leadership. Candidate Profile Minimum 7 years of experience in commercial, sales, revenue or marketing leadership within hospitality. Experience with hostels, lifestyle hotels, youth travel, resorts or experiential hospitality strongly preferred. Proven experience managing multi-property or cluster commercial operations. Strong knowledge of OTA strategy, revenue management, distribution and digital marketing. Understanding of international backpacker, youth travel and group markets is highly desirable. Strong commercial and analytical mindset with a proven track record of revenue growth. Excellent negotiation, partnership-building and communication skills. Entrepreneurial, creative and results-oriented approach. Strong leadership skills with the ability to work across multiple destinations and cultures. Excellent English communication skills.
