About the role: To support our planned growth we are searching for our next Building Certifier | Surveyor to join our QLD team. Your role will include: working across predominately residential projects carrying out building assessments and inspections issuing Compliance Certificates and Certificates of Occupancy providing building compliance advice to a wide range of clients investigating and resolving client requests involvement in the development, implementation and improvement of processes and procedures You'll be backed by a dedicated client experience admin team supporting the certification process end-to-end — less time on admin, more time on the technical work. About you: You bring experience in building certification and a genuine commitment to first-class client service. You're proactive, resilient, and communicate clearly — and you thrive in a fast-paced team environment. You'll also have: Current QBCC registration as a Building Certifier (Level 1, 2 or 3), or eligibility to gain registration A recognised qualification (Diploma in Building Surveying, Bachelor in Construction Management, or equivalent recognised by AIBS or RICS) Strong MS Office skills and adaptability to new systems High-level interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to prepare complex reports Strong organisational skills and the ability to multitask while keeping projects on track High attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills Demonstrated negotiation and conflict resolution skills A valid driver's licence and full legal work rights in Australia About our Benefits: As a member of our team, you will be offered: flexible work options - combination office/remote or fully remote (dependent on proximity to the office) a negotiable salary package (based on qualifications and experience) and annual reviews fully funded continued professional development fully maintained company vehicle, laptop, iPad and mobile phone PI insurance coverage annual registration fees and industry memberships paid leadership development programs and ongoing training and support a friendly and supportive work environment.
