Information Technology Intern Vello Labs Sdn. Bhd. is a fast-growing company building AI-powered products and automation solutions. We are looking for a motivated Information Technology Intern to support our technology team and gain real, hands-on experience working with AI automation, web technologies, APIs, and digital systems. Job description As an Information Technology Intern at Vello, you will work alongside our technology team and gain practical exposure across various areas of IT, from system implementation and automation to website development and technical support. This is a learning-focused role designed to give students real responsibility and practical insight into how technology supports business operations in a fast-moving company. Day to day, you will assist with the setup and maintenance of AI automation systems, including WhatsApp bots, CRM pipelines, and workflow automation. You will also support website development and maintenance, assist with API integrations and system implementation, and provide technical support when required. You will help document technical processes, troubleshoot issues, and work with different teams to understand and support their technical requirements. Beyond the day-to-day, you will have the opportunity to contribute your own ideas, work on real technical projects, and learn how digital systems and automation solutions are developed and implemented. Throughout the internship, you will be mentored and encouraged to ask questions, take ownership of tasks, and build a strong foundation for a career in IT and technology. This is an on-site internship, ideal for someone who is technically curious, organised, problem-solving oriented, and eager to learn. Key responsibilities Assist in the setup, maintenance, and improvement of AI automation systems, including WhatsApp bots, CRM pipelines, and workflow automation. Support the development, maintenance, and optimisation of responsive websites and landing pages. Assist with API integrations, system implementation, and troubleshooting. Provide technical support and assist in resolving basic system and software issues. Prepare and maintain technical documentation, guides, and project records. Assist with testing and monitoring digital systems to ensure functionality and reliability. Collaborate with Marketing, Operations, and Client Success teams to understand and support their technical requirements. Perform general technical and administrative support for the technology team as required. Education & eligibility Currently pursuing or recently completed a Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or a related field . Students seeking an internship placement to fulfil academic requirements are welcome to apply. Fresh graduates looking to gain practical IT experience are also encouraged to apply. Willing to work on-site at our Kajang office. Requirements Strong interest in technology, software, automation, and digital systems. Basic understanding of web development, APIs, databases, or programming. Good problem-solving and analytical skills. Willingness to learn new technologies and tools. Familiarity with tools such as GitHub, VS Code, Google Workspace, or similar platforms is a plus. Organised, detail-oriented, and proactive. Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia.
