About the Opportunity Our client is a well-established, founder-led and Private Equity-backed group in Thailand, operating a growing network of portfolio businesses. The organisation is now preparing for its next major chapter — including further expansion and a future public listing — and is seeking an experienced, Thai national finance leader to help shape that journey. The Role As Group Finance Director, you will own financial strategy, reporting, and controls across the group, working closely with the CEO, Board, and business leadership teams. This is a rare opportunity to build and professionalise a finance function at scale, while playing a lead role in preparing the organisation for public listing — from readiness assessment through to execution. Key Responsibilities Own group-wide financial strategy, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting, aligned to an ambitious growth plan Lead IPO readiness end-to-end: financial statement quality, regulatory compliance, capital structure, and investor-facing materials Act as senior financial advisor to the CEO and Board, presenting performance and strategic recommendations at leadership level Build and standardise financial systems, controls, and reporting frameworks across multiple business units Manage group cash flow, banking relationships, and capital allocation, including financing for new site investment Lead, mentor, and unify a sizeable finance function working across multiple locations Monitor performance metrics tied to growth, retention, and unit-level profitability Drive procurement and vendor strategy, leveraging group-wide scale What You'll Need Thai nationality (required for this role due to regulatory considerations tied to the planned listing) Proven, hands-on experience leading a company through IPO or public listing readiness in Thailand — essential, not preferred Strong command of TFRS and SEC/SET disclosure requirements Prior experience as a CFO, Finance Director, or senior finance leader within a multi-site or multi-entity organisation Confidence engaging directly with Boards, investors, and external auditors CPA or equivalent professional qualification preferred What's on Offer A highly competitive, negotiable executive package for the right candidate Performance-linked variable bonus Healthcare coverage and Provident Fund 20+ days annual leave A genuinely rare chance to lead an organisation through its IPO journey from the ground up
